Happy St. Patricks Day!

We’re always working on stays, but we love adding a little extra fun with a theme-behind-the-theme! Recently, we played the “Head in Things” game, where our dogs practiced putting their heads and faces into all sorts of unusual objects. Why? Because it’s a playful and effective way to help them become more comfortable with handling their head and face.

This kind of training is incredibly useful for vet visits, for wearing a cone or muzzle if needed, or just for everyday care—think about cleaning their eyes or trimming a mat behind their ear. The more comfortable they are, the easier these moments become.

For this photo session, we continued the challenge. Our pups rocked scarves, decorative collars, and even hats and bows, showing off their patience and adorable style. Training can be practical and fun!

Ready to try at home? Just remember to take it slow, and to listen if your dog says “no”!
