WOOFS! Apprentice Program

We couldn’t run our top notch training program without the help of our industrious apprentices. These “trainers in training” dedicate an incredible amount of time learning about training and behavior. Many are also on our daycare staff, making canine care and behavior their full-time gig. You can meet our future WOOFS! trainers anywhere from Puppy Party and Puppy Kindergarten through upper level classes.

We don’t mess around when it comes to caring for dogs and their people. That’s why we:

Constantly seek continuing education

Our staff members don’t just love dogs—we understand them. Take a look at our team below and you’ll see just how much we value our continuing professional education.

Hire only the best hands on deck

It takes a lot of people to run 40 classes a week and provide excellent service and results through our private training programs. Fortunately, our reputation draws the best trainers, apprentices, and assistants to be found anywhere.

Use only positive dog training methods

This dog-friendly approach, grounded in the latest canine behavioral science, is actively endorsed by the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behaviorists, the ASPCA, the Pet Professional Guild, the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, and every other reputable voice in the training industry here in the US and throughout the world.

Lend our skills to our community

Our passion for our work and local community keeps us busy with all sorts of projects, including fostering pregnant canine mothers and whelping, raising, and socializing their puppies. A little prevention goes a long way, and we hope to give our foster puppies an excellent start in life through vigorous physical and behavioral health.

Value customer service as much as training results

On the surface our job may be to take care of your dog, but we understand that means taking good care of you, too. While we stand firmly by policies designed to maximize safety, training results, and efficiency, we strive to see that you have as good an experience with us as your dog does.
