We are pleased to announce that WOOFS! trainers Jennifer Thomas and Lauren Arona have been awarded CPDT-KA certification through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers.
CPDT-KA stands for Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed. Applicants must complete 300 hours of client training before trainers are eligible for an extensive semi-annual test. Certificants must demonstrate ongoing education and professional development to maintain credentials. CCPDT offers the only international, standardized certification for professional dog trainers that is both science-based and independent of any course of study.
With this accomplishment by Jen and Lauren, WOOFS! Dog Training Center currently boasts eight trainers who are actively credentialed by the Certification Council for Pet Dog Trainers. Congratulations Jen and Lauren, and thanks for your continued dedication!
