To the WOOFS! Shirlington family,
It is with a mixture of gratitude and sadness that we announce the closing of the
WOOFS! Shirlington location. The last day for daycare and boarding will be Sunday,
September 22nd.
For the past 17 years we have welcomed so many wonderful dogs here for daycare,
boarding, and training. And we have enjoyed every minute of it. This decision was not
made lightly, and we deeply appreciate the support, loyalty, and trust that you have
extended to us over the years.
But all good things must come to an end, and for many reasons, it is time for us to
make a change.
The good news is that WOOFS! is not closing! We will be expanding our training
services including Group Classes, Private Training, Behavior Consultations, and
Day School Training at our North Arlington (Ballston) campus. That is where WOOFS!
first started, so in a way, we are returning to our roots, where we will continue our
commitment to serving you with excellence.
We will continue to have a Daycare option in our expanded Daycare Plus service. Our
new Daycare Plus will be a small, full day, daycare experience focused on training and
enrichment. We look forward to welcoming as many of our current daycare pups as
possible in this new program.
If you have daycare passes, boarding reservations or any other services scheduled at
our Shirlington location, we will work with each of you individually to find the best way
to accommodate your pet care needs.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our profound gratitude for your
continued patronage and support. Together, we have built more than a business; we
have created a community. Your loyalty has been the cornerstone of our success, and
for that, we are eternally grateful.
Thank you for being a part of our family. We cherish the memories and the successes
we have shared, and we look forward to new beginnings.
