Service Contract for Day School and Board & Train

PAYMENT: Before making a reservation for Board & Train or Day School, you and your dog must complete a consultation and evaluation with your trainer, and your dog must successfully complete a trial half-day of daycare.

On completion of your consultation and trial day of daycare, full payment is required to reserve your scheduled training dates. Your training evaluation fee will be applied directly toward your chosen training package.

CANCELLATION & REFUNDS: If training reservation is cancelled ten (10) or more business days before your scheduled st Aart date, we will issue a full refund minus the $50 consultation and evaluation fee. If reservation is cancelled five (5) or more (but less than 10) business days in advance, you may receive a 50% refund. No refunds are available less than five (5) days before your scheduled start date, however your trainer can help you reschedule for a different start date.

RESCHEDULING: Your training start date may be rescheduled one time for any reason. If a session must be rescheduled a second time, there will be a rescheduling fee of $150.

INTERRUPTION: In the event that a training week is interrupted by trainer illness, inclement weather or other unforeseen event, supplementary training dates will be added as agreed upon by client and trainer. If the trainer is unable to continue working with your dog for any reason (ex. dog is too anxious, ill or aggressive), training will be pro-rated at a rate of $60/hr based on the number of hours spent before the training was interrupted, and any applicable daycare or boarding will be charged at the standard rates.

TRANSFER SESSIONS: For your dog's training program to be effective, it is necessary that you attend your scheduled transfer sessions with your dog's trainer. In your transfer sessions, your trainer will teach you the signals, skills and strategies to enable your dog to perform well with you, and not just with the trainer. When you return home with your dog, it will be up to you to continue to reinforce and maintain your dog's new skills.

Transfer sessions must be completed within three (3) months of the final training date or they will be forfeited.

LIABILITY WAIVER: WOOFS! Dog Training Center will endeavor to create as safe an environment as possible for the training of my dog and will offer only sound, safe, and responsible training and training instructions. However, I recognize that WOOFS! Dog Training Center is not responsible for any unintentional errors, omissions, or incorrect assertions. I understand that the recommendation of any other product or service is not a guarantee of my satisfaction with that product or service. Further, I am and will remain responsible for the actions of my dog at all times and I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless WOOFS! Dog Training Center of any and all claims of injury, expense, costs, or damages caused by the actions of my dog while under WOOFS! Dog Training Center instruction or control and under my own care as a result of following training instructions. I have been told by WOOFS! Dog Training Center and understand the inherent risks in owning a dog, including but not limited to the risk of dog bites to myself or others.

This contract is validated by the signature below in total and as approval for future services without additional written authorization.
