COVID-19 Policies

Updated August 18, 2021:

• Class begins after April 12, 2022: Masks are optional at this time.
• Class begins before April 12, 2022: Mask requirement remains in effect
• All students are required to sign a COVID-19 liability waiver

IMPORTANT: We will be following the CDC’s Community Levels website for transmission rates in Arlington County. We are currently at a transmission rate of “Low” and we may reinstate our mask requirements should our community transmission rate rise again above that level.

Masks are optional inside our building at this time.
Arlington County community transmission rate is currently rated as “Low”. We expect to reinstate our mask requirements should our community transmission rate rise again above that level. (See link above.)

We no longer have a staff person present overnight.
Instead we are staffed until 10 pm and then again at 6:30 am. We have installed cameras and done a security analysis to make sure all boarding dogs are safe during the overnight hours. We have also limited our non-crate options so that there is only one dog per suite. Some exceptions will be made for multiple dogs in the same household.

Hand sanitizer is available in our lobby.
We will continue to regularly sanitize all frequently touched surfaces such as pens, door knobs, phones, computers etc.
