As the nights grow longer and the pumpkins glow brighter, Halloween is just around the corner! From ghosts to goblins, the occasional trick and plenty of treats, we’re celebrating all the chills and thrills of Spooky Season in WOOFS! Daycare PLUS.
Each photo set brings its own surprises, and this month was no exception. I expected the spooky props—the skulls and the looming tree—to give our pups pause, but those didn’t rattle anyone. As imagined, some dogs did feel cramped by the gravestone to their right, but the real surprise? Several pups were hesitant to walk on the fuzzy gray blanket! It just goes to show that even the smallest details can feel strange to our dogs. For those unsure paws, we took it slow and let them explore at their own pace until they felt brave and confident about this new texture underfoot.
Who needs ghosts and goblins when you’ve got fuzzy blankets to face? This spooky season reminded us that bravery doesn’t always mean tackling the scariest monster—it’s often about taking one small step toward something new.
