WOOFS! Dog Training Center congratulates trainer Jan Baker on achieving the TAGteach Level 1 Certification through TAGteach International.
TAGteach is a method of teaching human learners that uses the same positive reinforcement principles that we use with dogs. It is a way to hone and streamline communication between teacher and learner, and has been used successfully for a wide range of purposes that include sports coaching, occupational safety, autism and special education and even to teach operating skills to surgeons.
At WOOFS! Dog Training Center, TAGteach is a vital part of the way that we instruct students and clients as they learn new skills. We must be just as proficient as “human trainers” as we are as dog trainers, and TAGteach is a fundamental part of our teaching methodology. We congratulate Jan on her accomplishment!
